Soft turron is a traditional, Spanish sweet made from ground Marcona almonds and local honey. The melt-in-the-mouth delicacy has a soft texture, and rich, sweet flavour, making soft turron a wonderful ingredient – perfect for nougat-flavoured ice cream and semifreddo.
Turron is known as torrone in Italy, and nougat in England and France.
Alemany is a third-generation business located in a rural Catalan village, surrounded by hills covered with rosemary and thyme, giving their distinctive flavours to the honey used in this soft turron.
