Black Bee British spring honey is creamy, sweet and softly set – it’s excellent spread over toast, stirred through porridge or paired with lemon, ginger and hot water.
This spring honey is foraged from rapeseed, hawthorn and plum blossom from a single source in Somerset. Honey is often measured for its antimicrobial quality and referred to as TA (total activity) – the higher the TA, the greater the antimicrobial quality. The scale typically ranges from 1 – 20, and this spring honey rates 11.5 on the scale.
As this honey is unpasteurised, it can set over time. If this is the case, gently warm it and the honey will return to its soft texture. This honey is not suitable for babies under 12 months.
About Black Bee Honey
The name Black Bee comes from the native British honey bee which was verging on extinction until dedicated reserves were created in South West England. Black Bee Honey founders Paul and Chris are passionate about supporting and celebrating British bees with their exclusively British blends.Â
Unblended and unpasteurised, each jar of honey is stamped with the beekeeper’s name and the apiary it comes from.Â
Storage: Store at room temperature.
