Mayan Mexican Hot Chocolate is a cinnamon-flavoured chocolate used to make traditional Mexican hot chocolate. To make Mexican hot chocolate, add the chocolate to almost-boiling milk and use a hand blender or traditional molinillo to create frothy ‘champurrado’. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for an authentic, Aztec twist.
The chocolate can also be used in mole sauces where drinking chocolate is specified or to accompany fried churros, popular throughout the Spanish-speaking world.
Ingredients: Cocoa mass, sugar, natural cinnamon and soy lecithin.
Allergy advice: for allergens see ingredients in bold. May contain traces of almond.
