Dalla Giovanna’s ‘00’ pizza flour is a fine-milled Italian flour, ideal for making Naples-style pizza bases. The pizza flour is approved by the ‘True Neapolitan Pizza’ association (Vera Pizza Napoletana). The flour has been specifically designed to make elastic pizza dough, which absorbs water well when kneaded.
Dalla Giovana has been producing flour since 1832, when the first millers in the family decided to try their hands at the industrial trend sweeping Europe at the time. Today, the business is run by the 5th and 6th generations of the family and produces over 300 types of highly respected flours for pasta-making and specialty baking.
