Khanum creamed coconut or coconut cream is highly concentrated coconut, in a firm block. The cream is the fattiest part of coconut milk, which has been separated and hardened.
How to use creamed coconut
Slice off a chunk from this pure coconut cream and dissolve in warm water, before using in Thai curries such as Panang curry or Massaman curry. This creamed coconut can also be used as a substitute for desiccated coconut.
