Odense almond paste is a Scandinavian staple for baking and decorating cakes. A simple mix of almonds and sugar, the paste is softer than some marzipan and is often used to fill Swedish semlor buns.
Made with 50% almonds, it has a wonderful fragrant flavour. Try combining it with double cream and cardamom, then spreading straight onto toast! Or use it in cookies for a soft and gooey almond flavour.
