Tatsumaki is the Japanese word for tornado, and this stunning stoneware noodle bowl is decorated with a hypnotic glazed whirl. The natural-look design is reminiscent of the raked patterns in serene Japanese sand and stone gardens.

The Tatsumaki noodle bowl is just right for serving warming noodle or wonton soups, or a comforting bowl of Japanese meat and potato stew (nikujaga).
