Pariani semi-candied elderberries add little bursts of sweet-sharp berry flavour to homemade ice cream. Pariani’s exceptional cold candying process leaves the natural flavours of the fruit unaltered, and also helps to prevent the fruit freezing at low temperatures – so the elderberries stay lovely and soft even in ice cream.

Elderberries have subtle earthy background notes and hints of tannin. This makes them a fantastic addition to a cheeseboard. And because they’re partially candied, they have just the right amount of sweetness that’s so moreish with mature cheeses like Manchego or Parmigianno, and even blue cheeses like Gorgonzola Picante.
