Sous Chef Smoked Chipotle Chilli Powder

This chipotle chilli powder has intensely smoky notes, and a mild chilli heat. The chipotle chilli powder made from smoke-dried jalapeños, which are ground into a fine powder. In central and southern Mexico, chipotles are also known as chile meco or chile ahumado.

The powder is easily absorbed into sauces, adding intensely smoky flavours. It can also be used as a seasoning, with a pinch adding great smoky depth to stews, burgers, and spiced vegetables or in dry-rubs for barbecued food. The secret ingredient for the perfect beef chilli!

Ingredients: Chipotle chilli powder (smoked jalapeño chillies). Origin for 50g – Peru and 1kg – Mexico.
