Black cardamom grows in the wild in the Mahabharat region of Nepal and is harvested by hand at altitudes of up to 2,000m.Â
Best used once ground, this spice is wonderful for giving pilaf rice, meat curries and biryanis a smoky kick.Â

The company was founded by Erwann de Kerros, a Breton and seasoned traveller. After tasting pepper in the Penja plantation in Cameroon, Kerros yearned to try other specialist peppers and spices – and Terre Exotique was born.
